The Merge tool allows you to place the secondary buffer into a specified area
in the primary buffer. It is important to remember that the \{ \ts b \ts i
entire secondary buffer \} will be placed in the area selected with no regard
to the size of the specified area.

The Minimum Merge function places the entire secodary buffer into a specified
area in the primary buffer. The Images are only merged were the secondary
buffer is \{ \ts b \ts i brighter \} than the primary.

The Rub Thru tool takes the secondary image and places it into a specified
area in the primary. Rub Thru places the portion of the secondary image
directly "under" the specifed area. It is important to note that Imagemaster
will treat the primary and secondary buffers as if they are the same size. As
an example a 100 x 100 image would exactly match 380 x 480 image in the Rub
Thru mode.

the primary buffer.

The Combine function will place the secondary image into the primary with an
exact 1 to 1 pixel match. After selecting this button, you will be presented
with an outline of the secondary buffer. This outline can then be placed any
where on the image. If the secondary is larger than the primary, no outline
will be visible. In this case, Imagemaster will present you with an
informational message stating that the outline will not be visible.

The Place with Anti-Alias tool is similar to the merge function, except that
the secondary image is smoothly scaled and then placed into the area selected
in the primary image. This will produce an extremely high quality merge.
